The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey
The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (NOFA NJ) has supported and advocated for organic farming and local food systems in the Garden State since 1985. From technical support to educational programming and policy advocacy, our work is dynamic, community-focused, and has lasting impacts throughout the entire food system. NOFA NJ is one of seven NOFA Chapters with a 50+ year history of advocating for organic farming, local foodsystems, and ecological restoration.

Sustain the Next 40 Years of Organic in NJ!
Since 1985, NOFA NJ has supported Organic Farms & Organic Food with the help of private donors, sponsors, foundations, and state & government grants. In 2021, the NOFA NJ Organic Future Fund (OFF) was created with the goal of providing funding for another 40 years of Organic support and advocacy.
Contributions to the NOFA NJ Future Fund can be in the form of cash donations, stocks, bonds, or other assets and help NOFA NJ ensure financial stability for years to come
Support NOFA NJ's Community Kitchen Fundraiser!
Earlier this year, NOFA NJ purchased a commercial kitchen in Milford, NJ. We’re currently fundraising to renovate the kitchens, offices, and garden to create a community food engagement center that can support local farms and food businesses – part community kitchen, part education center, part event venue – as well as house the NOFA NJ offices.
Support the project with a donation, through sponsorship, by spreading the word, or by a donation of kitchen equipment, tools and supplies from our wish list!
Find Support in Transitioning to Organic
The Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) is a network assembled by the USDA’s National Organic Program to support transitioning and organic producers with mentorship and resources.
NOFA NJ is the Core Partner for New Jersey, teaming up with organizations from Maine to West Virginia to bring mentorship, education, technical assistance, and networking to producers interested in Organic production.
